Mining law expert and National Environmental Policy Act guru Dawn Meidinger of Fennemore Craig is joining the Environmental Law Society today at 12 pm in room 250 to talk about one of Arizona’s 5 C’s: copper!
Ms. Meidinger participated in the “blockbuster” case Center for Biological Diversity v. U.S. Fish and Wildlife (“the Rosemont decision”), which impacts a nearly 150-year-old interpretation of the 1872 Mining Law. She will discuss the major implications this decision may have on the future of mining in Arizona.
Lunch will be served. See you there!
