State Bar of Arizona, Tax Law Section Scholarship 2020
The State Bar of Arizona Tax Law Section is offering a $1,000 scholarship for a 2L or 3L student interested in pursuing a career in taxation.
In order to apply for the scholarship, please submit a resume and a one page statement explaining: (i) why you are interested in tax law, (ii) any tax course(s) you may have taken, or outside tax experience (e.g., participation in VITA or CPA certification) you may have, and (iii) where you anticipate working, or would like to work, upon graduation (i.e., geographic region and type of job). Prior recipients are not eligible to receive a second scholarship.
Please include your name on your one page statement. Your response may be single or double spaced. Please submit your application material to Nadia Cunningham at firstname.lastname@example.org by the Deadline: Friday April 3, 2020. Any inquiries may also be directed to Ms. Cunningham.
$1,000 may be awarded to qualifying student(s) at any of the two Arizona law schools (up to three $1,000 scholarships awarded annually to students)
